At Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital, our residency programs are designed to challenge residents to develop those skills which are crucial to becoming successful clinical pharmacy practitioners. Under the supervision of experienced clinical pharmacy specialists, residents work closely with physicians at all levels of training from the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, as well as nurses, and other health care practitioners to directly provide care to patients in an academic environment. Residents gain valuable precepting experience by working closely with a select group of pharmacy students in our Longitudinal Clinical Experiential Program and through completion of a teaching certificate program offered in conjunction with the University of Houston College of Pharmacy.
The Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center Department of Pharmacy offers a comprehensive post-graduate pharmacy training program, which includes the following residency programs:
Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center also offers the Longitudinal Clinical Experiential Program (LCEP) designed for Doctor of Pharmacy students during their Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE).
